When the VFA was formed in the early 1980s, the members had various family legends and copies of manuscripts that found their way into print. As the organization grew in size as well as expertise, it became apparent many of these ‘accepted’ facts were incorrect. Most of these were corrected with updates in subsequent issues. Where available, errata sheets have been inserted into individual newsletters. The VFA strives to ensure the accuracy of the content of its newsletters, we invite members to post additions, comments, and corrections to the newsletters on our VFA Newsletter Forum. To assist in your research, there is VFA Master Surname Index to all of the newsletters that shows the month, year and page number for each family surname mentioned. The Surname Index and a Table of Contents Index can be found at the top of the list of newsletters that are posted. The best view of the newsletters can be achieved by right-clicking on the small arrow icon inside the box at the upper right hand corner of the viewer and then using the small magnifying glass icons to enlarge or shrink the size of the image to an optimal size for you.
